History

1920

Konishi Shoten was founded in Choshi, Chiba. Fresh fish and dried bonito, dried sardines and butterflied Pacific saury that it produces are sold.

Around 1962

Began producing Pacific saury pickled in okara.

1976

400-ton refrigerated warehouse completed.

1977

The Distinguished Service Award (Fishery) is received from Chiba Prefecture for the development of bunkaboshi dried mackerel.

1992

The name of the company is changed to Koujirushi Konishi Shoten Co., Ltd. when it becomes a corporation.

2003

A 2,500-ton F2-class refrigerated warehouse established within the Chiba Seafood Processing Center.

2004

New seafood processing factory established

2018

Seafood processing factory obtains HACCP certification
