About Koujirushi

Konishi Shoten was founded in 1920 in Choshi, Chiba, a place renowned for its fishing and seafood processing industry. The types of fish that are available in the market and consumed at home have changed over time. We have always worked hard to develop new products to meet changing demand while also preserving our heritage.

Although the majority of our products are sold in markets, we now sell more products at department stores and luxury supermarkets than before to reach as many customers as possible.

Founded since 1920 we first started, we have experimented to perfect dried fish, delighting our customers. We have remained curious and ambitious throughout our journey.
